As you start with what you have, you will soon realize the things you need will come to you because you took a step of faith in action. Life has a way of rewarding those who are diligent in their purpose and commitment.

What do you need courage for today? Whatever it is you need courage for, know that God has already commanded you to be strong and courageous. God said those words to Joshua, because He knew Joshua needed to be reminded of God’s promises and commands.

Who are you? -Each and every day your actions, not your words tell the world who you are. Be watchful and see what others say of you. Do your words match your actions?

As you come across life’s most challenging moments, try to remember that our God who gives you joy and peace to traverse through difficult moments in life lives within. He will give you the strength to live with much enthusiasm because your trust is in Him.  

Without question, parenting is perhaps one of the most difficult and challenging responsibilities a person can ever face. We are confronted on all ends with so much uncertainty, worry, stress, anxiety that we don’t know how we’re going to make it in the future.

Leadership matters at home. What are the actions and attributes of great leaders at home and what separates them from the rest? 

Consider the cost before you commit to anything.  For many, the word commitment makes them feel very uncomfortable. Have you ever wondered Why commitment makes many of us uncomfortable? Why is it hard to commit to anything these days? What does commitment ask of us? Who benefits most from our commitment? Before you make a commitment make sure to weigh the cost.

I stand here today as a fallible human being. One who has made many blunders, mistakes and failures. I’m by no means perfect, or even close to it, but if there’s one thing I have learned throughout my entire life when it comes to failure, is to get up, try it again and learn.   

Is not necessarily a question of location only but presence in a child’s life. 

When you left, pieces of my life went with you. I needed to know that I could count on you. We were supposed to build something together—lots of things together.

There is a saying; “When you are young you sacrifice your health for wealth and when you are old you sacrifice your wealth for health.” 

 I have dug deep in my soul to forgive him and pray that one day he finds Christ. And although I carry the scars of an abusive childhood, I thank God everyday for teaching and fathering me through many great men and mentors.

 Uncommon Valor is the strength of mind or spirit that enables a person to encounter danger with firmness; a personal bravery that is not seen very often. This is what is needed to make a marriage stronger and healthier.

Quite often we hear the phrase that parenting does not come with a manual. Do you think that statement is true? I know that parenting in today’s world is very challenging, difficult and exhausting. However, I believe with all my heart that a manual has been provided and some of us read it and others don’t. And that makes all the difference.
